Today I have used the delightful Checking the List Elf digital stamp from Cute As A Button, two of our generous sponsors this month, to make three cards.

~~~*~~~*~~~
My first card uses the Flower Petals digital stamp from Colour Of Love.
FULL details can be found HERE or by clicking on the image below.
THIS POSTther two cards using the
Checking the List Elf digital stamp from Cute As A Button.
My pair of cards started on my Silhouette Studio design mat.  I opened the image and a cut file for the card design (details and link below).  I enlarged the card base (as well as the associated mechanism and layers) to make a 5 3/4" tall card.  I added an extra layer to the front of the card and sized the image to fit.  I created a sentiment for the front (and inside) of the card (font details and links below), printed the front panel on X-Press It blending card, cut with Silhouette Cameo, heat set and coloured with Copic markers.  I used the Cameo to cut the card base, mechanism and layers.  As mentioned earlier, I added a sentiment to the inside matting panels, so I printed them on textured cardstock and cut with the Cameo.  I used a combination of liquid adhesives (details below) to adhere all the layers.  I die cut some holly leaves and coloured them with markers to match the image.  I used markers to colour sparkling clear rhinestones.  The holly leaves and berries were adhered to the card front and the tiny red rhinestones adhered over the berries at the end of the elf's cap, for more contrast against the cap.
Here are my finished cards.  The elf looks so cute while checking the list.
When you open the card, the fancy folds go in to action
and the fun surprise inside pops out.
Here is what the folded mechanism looks like as the card opens
My first card uses the Flower Petals digital stamp from Colour Of Love.
My card started on my Silhouette Studio design mat.  I opened the image and sized it to 3 3/8" x 4 3/8", printed on X-Press It blending card, heat set, coloured with Copic markers then trimmed to size.  I went around the edges of the image with a marker that was used to colour the background, so that there was no stark white peeking out when I started adding layers.  I used a sketch for the design (details and link below), cutting lots of panels to layer together.  I die cut some "twine and bows" to layer as an accent at the bottom of the image.  I used liquid adhesive to secure all the layers in place on a 6 3/16" card base ... yes, it's an odd size but I added more layers than I originally planned.  I used Copic markers to colour some sparkling rhinestones to match the dark cardstock.
This post is to share about my Easter tags
using the Kitty Play digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101.
You can read all about the new challenge, the generous sponsors and the details about my four projects on my first post HERE or by clicking on the photo below.  My projects include a layered card and a CAS card using the Poppies digital stamp from SheepSki Designs and a pair of Easter tags using the Kitty Play digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101.
~~~*~~~*~~~

I started my tags by opening the Kitty Play digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101 in Silhouette Studio.  The cute little girl reminded of an Easter Bunny dress-up, so I decided to make Easter tags.  I sized the image to 3" high by 2" wide, snipping the little kitty off the side.  I placed the image on an "egg" shape and added a "ribbon hole".  I created the Easter sentiment (font details below) and added it to the egg shaped tag.  I printed the panel on X-Press It blending card, cut with my Silhouette Cameo, heat set and coloured with Copic markers.  The tags are 4" high x 3" wide.  The tags were finished off by threading some pretty knotted ribbon through the end.  I think this is the first time I have ever started preparing for Easter so early.

My favourite is "digi" because it's so easy to re-size the image to suit your project, cropping is just a click of the
mouse, just like I have cropped the playful kitten from this image and added a digital sentiment.
Also, I can print multiple perfect copies without getting inky fingers

Today I have used the Poppies digital stamp from SheepSki Designs, one of our generous sponsors for this challenge to make two cards.   You can read all about the new challenge, the generous sponsors and the details about my layered card on my first post HERE or by clicking on the photo below.

~~~*~~~*~~~
I started my card by opening the digital image in Silhouette Studio.  I cropped the large area of "white space" from the image and sized the panel to 3 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" high.  I created a sentiment (font details below) and added it to the image panel to created a card front.  I printed the panel on X-Press It blending card, trimmed to size, heat set and coloured with Copic markers.  I created a 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" card base using heavy smooth white cardstock.  (No, I don't know why it ended up such an odd size, I usually make 5" x 7", 6" square or A5 sized cards, perhaps I was going to mat the panel instead of it being so CAS ... maybe I will do that next time.)
... and one last pic of both cards together, the CAS card
looks tiny but it's only 1/4" smaller than the layered one,
the CAS card 6 3/4" x 4 3/4", the layered is  7" x 5"
