30 Day Colouring Challenge - Day 1

This month I am going to try to improve my stamping and colouring skills.
I will be playing along with

OK, I should have asked more questions about what ink pads to use with these pens because I found out the hard way that Memento Tuxedo Black is the WRONG one!

I have to confess that my 1st attempt is rather tragic, with the black ink bleeding quite badly.  Sure hope my clear and yellow pens recover from my misadventure ...

Here is a pic to show my "warts and all" experience.


TOMORROW IS A NEW DAY,
so I plan on doing my homework tonight and try my hand colouring with them again.

Even with my INKY MISTAKE, I am THRILLED with the pens,
the colours are really VIBRANT and they have a GORGEOUS sparkle too,
so I know they will be a pleasure to work with them.

PS - the cute toucan is from the Waffle Flower Hibiscus Stamp Set
and he was the innocent victim of my colouring adventure today!!!
