Today I have used the Cindy digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101one of the generous sponsors, to make a birthday card.  I thought it would be fun to make some magic happen with this sweet Cindy "Cinderella" image by combining it with some shimmering gold foiling, pretty patterned paper, a flourished sentiment, a touch of sparkle and a special message inside.

I designed my card in Silhouette Studio.  I combined the image with a quote (details & links below), adding some extra stars to the image panel so that the two panels would coordinate.  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set, cut to size (3.9") with my Cameo then coloured with Copic markers.  I used my Cameo to cut a circle (4.15") out of cardstock to mat the image panel.   I printed the sentiment panel and manually trimmed to size, matting with the same cardstock, trimming to a 1/8" border with a Perfect Layers Ruler.  I used a fancy font (details & link below) and an image of a dancing princess (details & link belowto create a sentiment panel for inside the card, printed on smooth white cardstock, trimmed to size, matted with cardstock, trimming to a 1/8" border with a Perfect Layers Ruler.  I used an A4 panel of heavy smooth white cardstock to make the top folding card base, trimming it to 7 7/8" wide x 5 7/8" high.  I matted the card front with pretty patterned paper, the golden foil accents perfect for a princess.  I adhered the matted image and sentiment panels in place with liquid adhesive.  I used the same adhesive to secure the paper roses in place, adding some sparkle to the petals with Stardust Stickles.

Lucky last came the sentiment panel for inside the card
. . . Cindy in now a Princess.

Mermaid Kisses and Birthday Wishes

Yes, I'm a little late for the challenge this week,
sending apologies to Julie and the Penny's Design Team.

It's time for a new challenge with us on the

~~~*~~~*~~~
Today I have used the Lilly Mermaid digital stamp from MoonFlower Digital Stamps, our generous sponsor for this challenge, to make a birthday card.
I opened the Lilly Mermaid digital stamp in Silhouette Studio along with a rope frame (cut file details & links below) and sized them to fit on a 6 1/4" square card.  The image is 4" tall.  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set and coloured with Copic markers, adding some sand to the bottom of the image and pale blue to the background.  I used white gel pen to add some dimension to the pearls in the image and give the white some extra pop.  I cut the rope frame and trimmed the image panel to fit behind it, adhering the layers together with liquid adhesive.  I trimmed to matting panels to size and layered them together, securing with liquid adhesive.  Lucky last came a cluster of paper flowers and strands of pearls, all adhered in place with liquid adhesive.
Another rockin' birthday . . . country style
It's time for a new challenge with us on the
As always, the challenge is Anything Goes.
Three to five random winners are drawn and
each get to choose 3 set of papers from the Paper Pick Tab
~~~*~~~*~~~

Today I have used two Star Splash Mixed Media digital papers by Lozzy at A Bit More Time To Craft.  It's the 35th digital paper set in the Paper Pick Tab. and it's a wonderful design in 18 different colours.  How awesome is it to have mixed media without the mess?!?!

I increased the patterned papers to 7" square then "trimmed" them to 5" x 7" on my Silhouette Studio design mat.  I added the PNG format of the Ewe Rock digital stamp and digital sentiment and sized them to fit on the paper panels.  I printed the image panels on A4 cardstock, heat set, coloured with Copic markers, including the stars in the background, then trimmed down to size.  I added a thick layer of Glossy Accents to the sunglasses to make the rocking sheep even more cool.  While the sunglasses were drying (it's true, watched Glossy Accents never dries), I as admiring the Star Splash Mixed Media paper.  It is filled with fun layered dimension and texture, so I decided to splash on some more more sparkle.  I dotted some Stardust Stickles around the rocking sheep then sprinkled a mixture of white and silver glitter over it.  Next came some more Stickles, which I dotted over the "sparkle" elements on the patterned paper, making the sparkle more delicate by leaving the dots to dry without extra glitter.

Click on the images if you would like to see the detail in full screen.
This post is to focus on the red card.

I love the shiny finish on the sunglasses.
Note to self - use Glossy Accents more!

The face and legs were coloured by layering some E01 & E02
down then blending it with N1 & N3.

Some special Easter inspiration with us on . . .

the My Besties Spanish Challenge Blog!
My Besties Spanish Challenge Blog

Today we are sharing some of the wonderful new March 2018 release
My Besties Easter images by Sherri Baldy

I had the pleasure of colouring and creating with the super cute
Sherri Baldy's My Besties img912 digital stamp.

I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set then coloured with Copic markers.  I added some Stardust Stickles to the dots in the ears for some pretty sparkle.

Next came a touch of black.  I trimmed the image panel down then matted it with black cardstock.  I die cut a bundle of delicate flourishes from black cardstock and punched a bundle of yellow flowers to match the bunnies carrot and flower bouquet.  Sparkling black rhinestones were added to each flower.

The card base is 6 x 8".
I matted the front and inside panels then positioned the image panel and flourishes on the front.  I carefully lifted the image panel, smothered the back with liquid adhesive then secured it in place over the ends of the flourishes.  I adhered the flowers in place with liquid adhesive.

here are a couple more photos, just click on them to see the detail in full screen
