My "S" project is a real tongue twister . . .
Santa on his Sleigh making a Sweet Scene through the window,

flying high in the Sky with Softly falling Sparkling Snow.

My first "S" project was an {almost} Slimline Simple Sparkling Silver card HERE.

Today I have a Santa Sleigh card

... Santa is flying high in the Sky making his Special deliveries.

No colouring by me today ... instead I have used a cut file to make my card with Santa on his Sleigh making a Sweet Scene through the window against the Sparkling Snow background.  ... I let my Silhouette Cameo do all (most) of the work with a purchased cut file.  I enlarged the panel for a 5" x 7" card (and made a card white base because I ran out of my pre-scored ones).  Once cut, all I had to do was gather my glue, foam squares and tweezers (some of the pieces are small and fiddly) and assemble the pieces.  I added Stardust Stickles to the falling snow in the background.  Instead of tying a red bow to the windowsill, I die cut one from red cardstock.

My "S" project is a Simple Sparkling Silver card,

it's {almost} a Standard Slimline size too.

... I recently (today) learnt that Standard Slimline is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2"

and my card used a pre-scored card base 8.2" x 4.1", almost slimline.

No colouring by me today ... instead I am keeping it sparkly and simple,

with die cuts and silver glitter cardstock.

Although it's a simple card design,

I think the silver sparkle against the white looks elegant.

My "R" project is a sparkling Ruby Red Christmas card.

No colouring by me today ... instead I am keeping it sparkly and simple,

with die cuts and ruby red glitter cardstock.

   

Although it's a simple card design,

I think the rich ruby red sparkle against the white looks elegant.

My "M" project is also Merry, a Merry Christmas card.

No colouring by me today ... sometimes my fingers refuse to play with markers ... instead I am keeping it sparkly and simple, with die cuts and golden glitter cardstock.

   

Although it's a simple card design,

I think the golden sparkle against the white looks elegant.

Today I have used the Flower Square digital stamp from Ike's Art,

one of our generous sponsors this month.

This is such a pretty panel filled with flowers and lovely "leadlight" segments that I decided to create an "eclipse" sentiment.  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set, trimmed to size and coloured with Copic markers.  I layered some release paper over the image panel and used my Sizzix Big Shot to die cut a large sentiment from the panel.  I used the same die to cut five black sentiments.  I made a top folding card base and adhered the image panel in place.  I adhered one of the black sentiments into the negative space on the card front the adhered the middle of the coloured "o" and "e" in place.  I layered the other four black sentiment die cuts together, topping it with the coloured piece then adhered the thick layer onto the front of the card.

When you first look at the card it looks like a solid panel but when you look at it at a slight angle, the extra layers make the "love" pop.

Today I have used the Droplets (Droplets 7) and the Fun (Fun 19) digital paper sets by Lozzy at A Bit More Time To Craft to make a pair of cheery birthday cards filled with fancy folds and mermaid kisses.




I opened the cut files for the cards (details below, I combined two) along with the Droplets (Droplets 7) and the Fun (Fun 19) digital papers in Silhouette Studio.  I sized the papers to fit the patterned paper layers of the cards, printed then cut with my Cameo.  I cut all elements for the mermaid and tropical island from smooth white cardstock and coloured them with Copic markers.  I created the sentiment panel (by editing the cut file linked below) and a used a digital font to make the mermaid sentiment, printed then cut with my Cameo.  I used assorted dies and punches to add detail to the layers of the scene, colouring each one with Copic markers.  I used liquid adhesive to to secure all the layers in place.  The fish leaping out of the waves was adhered to a strip of acetate with super strong glue dots.  I think these digital papers make the perfect sky and ocean elements for the scene on these cards.

I love these fancy folds and cute scene, so there are lots of photos to share ...

Today I have used the Sunflower Bouquet digital stamp and Honey Bees digital papers from Twinkle Lane Designs, one of our generous sponsors this month, to make a big, cheery, hello card.

I opened the Sunflower Bouquet digital stamp and Honey Bees digital papers in Silhouette Studio and sized the elements for my card design (design based on a sketch - details & link below).  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set, coloured with Copic markers and trimmed to size.  I printed the patterned paper panel on smooth cardstock and trimmed to size.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the pennant shaped panel (details & link below) used to mat the image panel.  I die cut the hello sentiment from the excess trimmed from printing the patterned paper panel and used a black Copic 100 marker to colour it.  I made a 6 3/8" square card base from heavy smooth white cardstock then started matting and assembling the layers.  I used Perfect Layers Rulers to trim the three layers under the honeycomb patterned paper, adhering all in place with liquid adhesive.  I adhered the matted image panel in place, topped it with the hello sentiment and finished off the card with black enamel dots.
