BAH humbug

... is it an elf or is it a gnome?

It was a gnome, now he is an elf, helping Santa.

Isn't he adorable?

The image is Norman from the Gnomes In My Garden digital stamp set from Beccy's Place.
I coloured him using Copic markers in muted Christmas colours to match his BAH humbug attitude.  I fussy cut him out and went around the edges with a Memento marker.
The foliage and berries at the top are my version of mistletoe.

Today I have used the cute Monroe image from the Feathered Friends
digital stamp set by Beccy's Place

I used a sentiment from the Feathered Friends digital stamp set and edited the position beside Monroe using Adobe Photoshop, then printed the image panel on A5 X-Press It Blending Card.
I coloured Monroe using Copic markers.

The final card design and size is very different to the one I originally planned ... it was going to be a tall, narrow card but when I asked my husband whether to attach the black pom pom trim to the top & botton of the image panel or just the bottom, his answer was that I should use bling.  I'm happy with how it turned out but think I will be making another more fancy version, with lots of pom pom and bows.

It's time for another challenge with us at the
This week we are crafting in 3's with Challenge #99 3-of-a-kind

Prize: 3 digital images

Today I have used the cute Ariela Mermaid digital stamp from Conie Fong Art, one of our generous sponsors this week.

My "3-of-a-kind" includes 3 roses and 3 sets of leaves.
There are also 3 orange sea urchins and 3 blue spiral shells in the image.
I have also included three types of shaker elements in the window
(2 sized clear sequins + clear beads)

I have coloured Ariela using Copic markers (details below).
I have matted a 6 1/2" sheet of patterned paper and made the shaker frame using the same navy cardstock.  To make the scalloped frame, I adhered five layers together, adhered the image panel to the base, added sequins & beads, adhered an acetate panel then topped it off with a final scalloped frame layer.

Here are a couple more photos, taken in daylight.

Can you see the sparkle in her tail?
