CAS with Sparkle and EXCITING news!

I'm thrilled and honoured to have been invited to be

Here is the "CAS with Sparkle" card I created.

The card is a tall A5 top fold.

I used a new-to-me Glitter Tape and I have to confess that I am addicted to it already.
The silver sparkle along the side of the card is a strip of the tape along the card base with the front panel of the card overlaying it, so that only a small strip is visible.  I applied two strips of tape to some white cardstock (being careful to butt the edges together) and die cut the butterflies and sentiment.  I aligned the middle of the butterfly to where the two strips joined and you can't see it, it is that smooth it looks like it was from a single, solid piece of glitter cardstock.
The bling flourish has the perfect silver sparkle to match the tape and makes it look like the butterfly is fluttering by.

Here are a some more photos showing the sparkle and dimension.
It's amazing (and frustrating) the difference between the "natural light" and "flash" versions ... "in-real-life" is between the two.

  1. Well we asked for sparkle ....this is stunning! I'm always moaning about how my glitter doesn't show up in pictures, but I think I'm just doing it wrong because your sparkle shines brightly! I love how this is ornate and glamorous while still being CAS. Thank you for being our wondeful Guest Designer at Inkspirational.
