This post is to share more details about the card I made using the
Cattelya Friendship digital stamp
from Sparkle N Sprinkle, one of our generous sponsors this week.

Yes, it's another fancy fold.
This time I've made a shadow box card.

I started out on my Silhouette Studio design mat, taking purchased cut file (details below), planning and sizing all the panels needed to make these fancy folds, with matting panels inside the window and for the back.  Note: this cut file comes with holes in the scallops and I removed them, originally planning on adding rhinestones in their place.

The folded card is 7" wide x 5 7/8" tall x 1" deep.
The flat card is 8 1/8" wide x 5 7/8" tall.

I printed the image panel on X-Press It Blending Card, heat set then coloured with Copic markers, using some photos of "real" Cattelya orchid flowers to guide me, especially for the throat of the flowers and the ruffles of the petals.

While the card has wonderful dimension when popped out and standing,
it folds flat for mailing, which is a real bonu$.
(no, the $ isn't a typo, thicker letters get charged at parcel rate$ here)

I made a contrasting panel for the back for adding a sentiment and writing a message.
The matting makes the card sturdier and I think it makes a nicer finish too.
