Our challenge for March is
Challenge #45 - Anything Goes

Remember:  You can participate with ANY project; altered, scrapbooking pages, cards, and anything you can think of.  If you have My Besties images, that would be ideal, but you can use any kind of stamps or digital stamps.  And also remember: You are playing for My Besties digital Stamps!

Today I had the pleasure of colouring and creating with the super cute
Sherri Baldy's My Besties Lil Miss Sassy Pants img819 digital stamp
to make a cheery birthday card.

I printed the image on A5 X-Press It blending card, heat set then coloured with Copic markers.  I trimmed the image panel down, adhered to black cardstock using a Perfect Layers Ruler to make a 1/16" border.  I matted an A5 top folding card base with black cardstock then added a panel of pretty patterned paper.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to make a layered flower from cardstock to match her outfit.  I used the Kraft font to print the sentiment, matted them to match the other panels.
I used a combination of liquid adhesives and foam dots to adhere all the layers in place.

   

I think I will be using "Kraft" more often ... it is such a fun font and I think it works perfectly with this sassy image.  What do you think?

I used a brad to secure the layers of the flower.
I love how the metal accents her boots and the shiny black facets sparkle.
