I'm not sure if he will be happy with this or not,
but I just had to use a llama for our nephew's Christmas card.
Why you may well ask ...
Well, when I learned that he had put "a real llama" on the top
and again at position #10 on his letter to Santa,
how could I resist?!?!?
I used a cut file for a llama treat box from the Silhouette Design Store (details below) and made some additional pieces to transform it into a top folding card. He is wearing a Christmas collar, with little bells that really jingle. I also made a Christmas hat but I didn't like covering his mane.
He looks so cute from the front ...

There is a lot of dimension with foam dots between many of the layers.
And for the record, no, he won't find a "real llama" inside his box,
it is filled with Lego. Merry Christmas Tom.

DeleteWhat a sweet looking llama, I love the curly hair and gorgeous long lashes. You did a great job layering everything together for a wonderful 3D look, I'm sure Tom will be thrilled to receive it... even though it's not a real llama, it looks just as good and he won't have to clean up after it! Fabulous.

DeletePS - funny you should mention not cleaning up ... my husband has given me some little dark mints in a tiny bag to put with it ... a compromise, as I refused to glue them on the card!
This is the cutest card EVER! Your nephew is going to be so excited and feel special, too. Both of those things are such a wonderful part of Christmas. (And I'll bet you are his favorite Auntie!)
