More Lotus Flowers . . .

No, you're not seeing things, I shared THIS pair of lotus cards last week.

These new cards are the "same-but-different",
with the lotus image mirrored to give a different look.

My lovely lotus flower cards combine the Lotus Flower pre-coloured digital stamp from the Hello Lovely digital stamp set from the Beccy's Place Store with the "Beautiful Day" digital sentiment from the same stamp set.  I mirrored the lotus image then sized the image and sentiment to fit on a 5.5" square panel, printed on smooth white 300gsm Letter sized cardstock, making it easy to score and trim to create a 5.5" top folding card.

I added some ripples of water around the Lotus image to anchor the flower and leaf stems to the card.  Although the cardstock is NOT “alcohol-ink-friendly”,
the Copic markers blended quite nicely, giving a watercolour effect.
The markers I used were BG70, BG72 and BG75.

The ink bleeds randomly, so no matter how hard you try,
no two are ever the same.

~~~*~~~*~~~
As mentioned earlier, these cards are the same-but-different.
My first cards used the Lotus Flowers image straight from the stamp set,
with the image to the right, the sentiment to the left.
For my second pair of cards I have mirrored the Lotus Flowers image,
with the image to the left of the card, the sentiment to the right.
  1. Gorgeous Tracy! Great idea to add the "water" beneath each image... I really like the rippled effect you created. As you know, I love your CAS cards and always enjoy seeing the new designs.
    Cheers,
