It's a Stick Up with Team Lou at the Southern Girls

It's time for another challenge with us at the Southern Girls.

This fortnight Team Lou have created projects to inspire you for the new challenge

... we want to see you use some stickers

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is
2CuteInk
2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps

Today I have used the Hydrangea Flower digital stamp by Delicious Doodles.

My "sticky bits" are enamel dots.

My CAS top folding card is a large A5 size.
I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set, coloured with Copic markers then fussy cut.  I went around the edges with a Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Tip Marker to finish it off neatly, with no bleed.

I adhered black cardstock to the A5 card base then adhered a panel of 6 1/2" patterned paper, trimming off the edges once the liquid adhesive had dried, which only took a minute.
I used the same liquid adhesive to secure the fussy cut image in place.
Next came the sentiment.  I die cut the sentiment 5 times from black cardstock, adhered them together then added a thick layer of Glossy Accents.  I think it gave a luscious smooth finish and shine which worked perfectly with the enamel dots.

Purple is a challenging colour when it comes to getting "true to life" images.
Here are some more pics . . .

  7. I have always thought your cards were a notch above the rest. Since you started adding images and coloring Copic markers, I'm thinking the only way left to describe your cards would have to be very top notch! Your layout design and the shiny sentiment and enamel dots work great to add just enough interest to let the coloring you did shine!
