Get ready for Christmas with Crafting By Designs

~~~ 1st post of two today ~~~
I am thrilled to be
Guest Designer
challenge
~~~*~~~*~~~

I was thrilled to see the Christmas theme for this challenge.

I don't know about you but I usually have a last minute rush with my Christmas card making and struggle to get all my cards posted by my goal time of December 1st.  The last couple of years I have been making a few cards throughout the year and found that it has made my task of bringing Christmas cheer much easier.
That being said, it is a pleasure to have four Christmas cards to share with you.

Today I have used the Tied Up With String digital stamp from Beccy's Place,
a set of stamps that is filled with images and sentiments to mix and match.

All the cards started with the digital stamps on my Silhouette Cameo design mat.  Although they use the same stamp combos, the image sizes, placement and colouring are different, so they are all still one-of-a-kind.
I printed the image panels on A5 X-press It blending card, heat set, coloured with Copic markers then trimmed to size.  I used my Perfect Layers Rulers to mat each image panel.

Here are the candy canes filled with Christmas cheer.
These cards are 6 1/4" x 5 1/4"

... they're the same stamp combo but still different ...

... and here are the Merry Christmas cards with bunches of mistletoe.
These cards are 6 1/4" square.

... they're the same stamp combo but still different ...

I added sparkle to these mistletoe berries

and I added luscious pearls to these mistletoe berries

It feels great to add another four cards towards next Christmas.

  1. I absolutely LOVE your CAS style cards Tracy, they're fabulous! My favourite is the mistletoe with the tiny pearls you used to replace the berries, it looks wonderful. Good job getting started on your Christmas cards nice and early... it's always such a mad rush by the end of the year.
    Cheers,
    Beccy
