N is for New-to-me
I have used two New-to-me products, cork and matte mirror cardstock
for the thirty days of prompts. . . . with only a few letters to go now,
the clock seems to be ticking ever so fast.
This 6 1/8" square card combine a CAS design with CORK, smooth cardstock, mirror cardstock, glitter cardstock, wooden holly leave and sparkling red rhinestones. The 6" x 6" cork sheet is self-adhesive, so I adhered it to some smooth white cardstock, used my Perfect Layers Ruler to cut a 1/16" border and adhered the panel to a 6" square card base. WOW - this is an exciting new-to-me product, so easy to use and it has such a wonderful texture. I cut the centre white panel, adhered it to the mirror cardstock, trimmed to 1/4" with Perfect Layers Ruler, adhered to white cardstock then trimmed to 1/8" with the other Perfect Layers Ruler then adhered the panel to the cork.
I die cut the from sparkling red glitter cardstock and adhered it with liquid adhesive. I finished it off by adding some wooden holly leaves and sparkling red rhinestones.
New-to-me is a fun prompt, I think I might have to play with cork and mirror cardstock again soon, maybe even try die cutting them . . . more New adventures are ahead.
Lots of contrast between the smooth white cardstock,
cork, mirror cardstock and glitter cardstock.
oops, nearly forgot to come back and update ...

This is lovely Tracy, the cork background and wooden holly embellishment add a lovely natural touch to the card. Love the piece of green mirror card, it has a wonderful shine that works well with the rhinestone berries and gorgeous glittery sentiment. Fabulous!
