This is my second card created for this challenge.  Earlier today I shared the CAS birthday card I made using the Amore digital stamp from All Dressed Up, one of our generous sponsors for this challenge.  This delightful image comes in three formats, one with the girl, balloons & sentiment, one with the girl & balloons and one with just the girl.  As you can see below, I have used the one with just the girl for my first card.  You can read all about it HERE or by clicking on the photo below.

My second birthday card uses one of the other three images in the Amore digital stamp set from All Dressed Up, this time it's the girl with the balloons.

I opened the Amore digital stamp (the girl with the balloons, without the Amore sentiment) in Silhouette Studio, along with some nesting hearts (link & details below).  I decided to keep with a hearty theme, with all the hearts in the image, so designed my card with an offset layered heart and sized them to make a 5" x 7" card.  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, cut the heart panel with my Silhouette Cameo then coloured with Copic markers.  I cut the layers for the heart using my Silhouette Cameo and adhered them together with the image panel on to the card front with liquid adhesive.  The delicate black heart frame was a fiddly challenge to adhere in place, let's just say it was lucky I had my glue eraser handy.



I used the same font to make a sentiment panel for inside the card.  I matted the panel with the same crimson cardstock used for the heart on the front of the card and trimmed it to 1/8" border using my Perfect Layers ruler.

 This could easily become my favourite colour combination.
