a festive design filled with Christmas Cheer.
I cut the card bases 4" x 6 3/4" the used a die cut set (details & link below) to cut the layered panels, wreath elements, door handle and mail slot. I used liquid adhesive to secure all the layers (details of each adhesive listed below) and popped the top of the door with foam tape, making the card stand 5" wide x just under 7" tall. I think that I spent more time playing around with the wreath, leafy foliage and holly leaves than I spent on the whole card. I finished off the card by tucking a piece of white cardstock in the mail slot to look like an envelope and added some red rhinestone holly berries to the wreath.
Check out the detail in the mail slot and door handle.
I loved the big red door card so much that I had to make two.

I'm very partial to a beautiful red door Tracy, and yours are fabulous! The extra time spent with the wreath was well worth it, I think it's really the centre piece of the card. Although I do like the hardware too, the embossed details are wonderful. Great idea to add the little piece of white card, it does look just like a letter! Gorgeous!
