U is for Upside Down

It's that time of year again . . .
we all need to get our Christmas cards sorted and
what better way to do it than playing along with the
at

The prompt for Day 24 is "U"

U is for Upside down
Poor old Santa is stuck Upside down in the chimney

This fun shaped card started as a cut file for a rectangle side fold card.  Once I opened the cut file in Silhouette Studio, I decided to transform it into a top folding shaped card.  I welded the largest front matting panel to make the card base then used all the other elements to create the Santa down the chimney scene.  I cut all the pieces from textured cardstock and adhered them in place with liquid adhesives.

You may remember the snowflake envelopes that I shared earlier (HERE).
This 5" x 7" card fits inside perfectly.

This is my second card using the Santa Down The Chimney cut file.
You can see the red based one HERE.
Which version do you prefer?

  2. I think this is one of those situation where they are just as nice as each other Tracy, I love both! It's a fabulous design and I'm sure whoever receives them will be thrilled.
