It's a kind of MAGIC

I've made an extra project and thought I would share
it as a reminder for the current challenge on the

This month we are letting our creative juices flow with

Today I have used the Wizz Doodles digital stamp from Dr Digi’s, one of our generous sponsors to make a magic slider birthday card.  Yes, our challenge is Halloween Colours but as you can see, although I have used the traditional orange, green, purple and black, my card not Halloween theme, it's a birthday card.

I opened a cut file for a Magic Slider card in Silhouette Studio, then instead of using the image that came with the file, I pasted the Wizz Doodles digital stamp and sized the image panel to fit in the window.  I added a sentiment, fonts are linked below.  I printed the image with the sentiment on X-Press It blending card, heat set then coloured with Copic markers.  As I can't print acetate on our home printer, I printed the image without the sentiment then took it to Officeworks to be copied on to acetate.  I trimmed the image panel and acetate panel down to size.  I cut the magic slider elements using my Cameo then assembled the card, being extra careful to align the acetate panel with the coloured image panel underneath.  I finished off the card by adding some tiny black star sequins.

It is so much fun pulling the slider mechanism and watching magic happen.

Here are some more photos . . .
if you click on the image you can see it in full screen.
