Today I have used the Fall Fence digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps,
one of our generous sponsors this month, to make my tall A5 card.

I started with a card sketch design (details below), some stitched dies that I wanted to use then opened the image in Silhouette Studio to size the image and design elements for an A5 top folding card.  I printed the image on X-Press It blending card, heat set, die cut then coloured with Copic markers.  I scored an A5 panel of heavy white cardstock to make the top fold for the back of my card then adhered it to another A5 panel of cardstock to create a top folding card base.  I manually cut the patterned paper and cardstock panels, die cut the stitched matting panel and the layered sunflower.  I adhered all the elements in place using liquid adhesive.  The stitched matting panel was popped with thin foam squares and the sunflower foam squares between the bottom and 2nd last petal layers, with thick foam squares popping the completed flower in place.

The layered die cut sunflower made the perfect embellishment for this card.  It was my first time using this die and I love how well the layered petals work together, the fine detail in the sunflower disc adds great dimension too.
