Day 3 - C is for Cute Curly Candy Cane

It's time for the 12th Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place.
You can read the rules HERE or head over to Beccy's Challenges and enter HERE.

Beccy's inspiration is a set of Candy Cane cards HERE

My C is also for Candy Cane, a Cute Curly Candy Cane Card.

Using Silhouette Studio, I created the image panel for my card.  I sized the Curly Candy digital stamp from the Candy Canes digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place to fit a 4" square panel.  I created the sentiment (font details below), printed the panel then manually trimmed to size.  I used Copic markers to colour the candy cane, OK, it's partially coloured, this is my quirky take on the "loading t-shirts" you see people wearing and translating it to Christmas.  Once coloured, I matted the panel with sparkling green glitter cardstock.  I made a 5 1/2" square top folding card base, adhered the image panel and my Cute Curly Candy Cane card was complete.

  1. LOL!! The first thing I noticed was the "unfinished" colouring Tracy, and I was trying to think of a nice way to tell you. Then I read the sentiment!! Love it! Such a clever design idea... I'm still chuckling!
    Cheers,
