Beccy's inspiration is a lovely lilac and lavender card
HERE.
My is "L" is for Layers, Lots of Layers.
My layered Happy Christmas scene card was inspired by an online craft summit by Bette's Makes (details below) and uses the "partial" cut file provided on the day of the event. I don't get time to actually make anything during craft summits, (I have to watch and learn as much as I can, as the basic access is only available for 24 hours) so it was nice to go back and try my hand at making one of my favourite projects from the tutorials. Even though the summit is for Cricut users, I learn so much and know
what to try and find the equivalent functions are in Silhouette Studio.
The "HAPPY" and "star" frame layers were provided as a free cut file.
The "Christmas" frame and scene were not included.

I'm super excited to say that the "Christmas" layer was designed by me using using the Simple Good Font. So many techniques combined just for a single word! I created the word, welded the letters of the word, added an offset so that the script letters stayed as a single piece when cutting (not too thin), warped the word to flow nicely across the card front to fit between the stars, then welded the word to the frame,
making it a single piece to cut.
I printed the Christmas scene on white textured cardstock and manually cut to size. I cut the frame layers using my Silhouette Cameo and I'm pleased to report that they cut perfectly, even the delicate made-by-me "Christmas" word layer. I made a 5 1/2" square card base and adhered the layers in place.

I'm very impressed with your cut file Tracy... you did a fantastic job welding and skewing the letters so they fit perfectly on your card. So clever! The red, white and blue combination is awesome, and I love the winter scene with all the decorated trees. Great card!
