Day 22 - T is for Trees

It's time for the 12th Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place.

You can read the rules HERE or head over to Beccy's Challenges and enter HERE.

Beccy's inspiration is a TUTORIAL HERE
It's a colouring tutorial for a stunning snowman scene card - WOW!

My "T" is for Trees,
Christmas Trees.

These cute Tree cards started as a 5x7 Insert Card Christmas Tree cut file in Silhouette Studio.  They were already formatted to one of my favourite card sizes, 5" x 7".  I cut the front panels and insert panels from textured cardstock and inserted them together to make two card fronts.  I made 5" x 7" card bases from 300gsm smooth white cardstock and adhered the layered panels to the front.  This design was a really neat cut, easy to weed and with no jagged edges.  It was also quick and easy to make, so it was a nice change from my recent times inking and curling, inking and curling.

  1. I’m a fairly recent convert to 5x7 cards Tracy, I just purchased a couple of packs. They’re a great size, especially when you have an impressive image or cut file… like your beautiful trees!
