Day 18 - P is for Pretty Pastel Pinwheel -2

It's time for the 12th Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place.

Day 18 - P

Beccy's inspiration is a delightful presents card HERE  

My "P" is a Pretty Pastel Pinwheel Card version 2.

The card has so many fancy folds, it's fun to look at in every direction.

When I made my first pinwheel card, my husband has suggested that I add different panels to make it more interesting as you flip the folds and I took his advice, he was right!  Although I adore the patterned paper I used to fill the panels, the card needed variety to invite you to keep on flipping.  The Jingle Bell digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place that I used for my initial design has several coordinating images and sentiments, so I could mix 'n match a variety of panels.  I also combined some sentiments from other digital stamp sets from Beccy’s Place.  Full details listed in ingredients below.

My fancy fold card was inspired by THIS card by Leslie Turner on her Love To Scrap 2 blog.  Her card was inspired by THIS tutorial and video HERE by Debbie Henderson on the Splitcoast Stampers site.  I designed the card base and panels in Silhouette Studio using the dimensions from the tutorial.  I decorated the panels with several elements from the Jingle Bell digital stamp set , the Silver Bells digital stamp set and the Golden Bell digital stamp set, all from Beccy’s Place, full details listed in ingredients below.  I printed, cut then assembled the layers and fancy folds.

with the flat card being standard A2 size, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
