Day 22 - T is for a Tree in a Tub

It's time for the 12th Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place.
You can read the rules HERE or head over to Beccy's Challenges and enter HERE.

Beccy's inspiration is a TUTORIAL HERE
It's a colouring tutorial for a stunning snowman scene card - WOW!

My "T" is for Tree, a Tree in a Tub

I combined the Bare Tree Decorated digital stamp from the Oh Divine Night digital stamp set with the Little Planter digital stamp from the A Little Something digital stamp set and the Merry Little Christmas digital sentiment from the Christmas Blooms digital stamp set, all three sets from Beccy’s Place.  I sized the tree, planter (today it's a Tub) and sentiment to fit on a 2 1/2" x 7 1/2" panel to go on a tall slimline card.  I printed the card panel, trimmed down to size then coloured it with Copic markers.

... that's a lot of markers for such a little tree!

The panel was matted on green textured cardstock then trimmed to a 1/8" border using a Perfect Layers Ruler.  I made a tall slimline card base (3 1/2" x 8 1/2") using 300gsm smooth white cardstock then adhered the matted image panel on the front of the card base.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

  1. Oh, that's cute Tracy! Great idea to merge the two images, the tree looks fabulous in the wooden tub. Fantastic colouring too.
