My F is for the Fabulous Fancy Folds,
of stepped accordion fold cards,
using my Favourite digital stamp-paper set.

My cards started as a cut file in Silhouette Studio, I love technology, most of the time.  The Stepped Accordion card design has lots of lovely fancy folds, giving me lots of space to decorate.  Of course I had to use my all-time-favourite digital Christmas pattern paper, Paper White from the Jingle Bells digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place.  I added the patterned paper to most of the matting panels, then added some bells to two of the panels using the Single Bell pre-coloured digital stamp from the same delightful stamp set.  Before I stared printing and cutting the panels, I sized two sentiments.  The Merry Little Christmas digital sentiment from the, yes, you guessed, the same digital stamp set is perfect for inside the fancy folds and for a sentiment panel for me to write on at the back of the card too.  The Merry Christmas Happy New Year digital sentiment from the now retired Emu Parade digital stamp set, also from Beccy's Place, is perfect for the belly band that holds the fancy folds securely in place.  I printed the matting panels on textured cardstock and cut them manually while my Silhouette Cameo cut all the plain textured cardstock pieces.  I burnished all the fancy folds, adhered the card base panels together then adhered the matting layers in place.  I folded the belly band around the folded cards then adhered the ends together, leaving enough wriggle room so that it slide on and off easily while still holding the folds in place, making them lovely inside and out.

Here is the front, flat, open view,
so that you can see the fancy folds and pretty panels.

Here is the back, flat, open view,
there is plenty of room for me to write a Christmas message.

Of course I couldn't stop taking photos of these
Fabulous Fancy Folds,
so here are two more just for fun.
