Like Lena, my cards started with HO HO HO Card-in-a-Box cut file. I opened the file in Silhouette Studio then opened by sweet addition, the Santa pre-oloured digital stamp from the Cozy Christmas digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place. I adjusted the size of the card base and HO HO HO letters by grouping, unlocking the aspect then stretching the height up to 5 1/2", giving me a taller section at the front to fit my Santa and still fit inside a 6" square card. Another change I made was to make snowflakes to go on the top and bottom of the single-piece snowflake panels for each side of the card. I like dimension (surprise) and I like to see a separation between the snowflakes too, not just the three snowflakes welded together. I sized Santa to fit nicely at the front of the card, printed on textured cardstock and sent the cut file elements for the card to cut. While the pieces were cutting on the machine, Santa was being fussy cut by me with my super sharp micro tip scissors. I went around the edges of each Santa with a Memento Tuxedo Black Dual Tip Marker, so that no white edges were visible, making a neater finish. The fancy fold card was assembled, Santa hats and snowflakes added and the cards were finished with a sweet Santa popped with foam dots on to the front.
The added bonus with this fancy fold card is that it folds flat for mailing and
