My I is for Inspired By

The card I shared for the “C” prompt was THIS Circles Christmas Card.  It was originally inspired by THIS card Sarah W. shared in the October 2024 Challenge at Beccy's Place.

Sarah W's card                                  my first circles card

These circles Christmas cards with the big bold poinsettia inspired me to make another one, same-but-different.  Using Silhouette Studio, I created a scalloped circle frame (cut file details below) and cut the frame from textured cardstock.  I mirrored the Poinsettia 2 pre-coloured digital stamp from the Christmas Blooms digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place and sized the poinsettia flower to fit inside the 4" scalloped circle frame, printed the image in a circle on 300gsm smooth white cardstock then fussy cut to size.  I created a sentiment to go on a 5 1/2" square card front, placing it on the opposite side to my first card, printed on 300gsm smooth white Letter sized cardstock, scored at 5 1/2" then trimmed to make a square top folding card.  I adhered the image panel to the back of the scalloped frame then adhered the framed image to the front of the card, offset to the upper right, instead of centred.

Here are my original and new, mirrored, cards.
