B is for Baubles

B is for Baubles

I opened the “Tree Baubles” pre-coloured digital image (from the “Tell It To The Trees” digital stamp set from Beccy’s Place) in Silhouette Studio and sized the image to make a 5” x 7” card.  I added the “Twinkly Christmas” digital sentiment (from the Merle digital stamp set by Beccy’s Place).  I printed then manually cut the image panel, matted using my Perfect Layers Ruler, then adhered to a 5” x 7” card base.  I finished off the card by adding a subtle sparkle to the tree baubles with a Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush.

It's hard to capture the subtle sparkle, if you click on the images below
you should be able to see the twinkle and shine.

PS - I tried a new style of made-by-me top folding 5" x 7" card bases.  The front panel is cut longer, scored and glued over the top of the back of the back panel (... try saying that fast three times).  Anyway, it was much quicker and easier than the way I have been making them and I'm giving it a go for now, we'll see if they small ridge on the back causes any problems going through the post, fingers crossed they all arrive safely and don't get chewed up in an automatic mail sorting machine!

  1. I love me some Wink of Stella, Tracy... always adds the perfect amount of shimmer. Love the pink border, it works well with the image, and I also like the way you've constructed the card base. Great idea when you have lots of offcuts (like me!).
    Cheers,
