Day 5 - Same But Different

My "same but different" uses the SAME image and sentiment but
DIFFERENT format, landscape and portrait.

My cards use the “Mistletoe” pre-coloured image
and the “Merry Christmas” sentiment.
The “Mistletoe” pre-coloured image is from the “Tied Up With String” digital stamp set by Beccy's Place.  The “Merry Christmas” digital sentiment is from the Emu Parade digital stamp set.  Unfortunately this Aussie Christmas set is no longer available in the Beccy's Place store but projects using it are shared on the Beccy's Place Blog
and can be found HERE.

I opened the image and sentiment in Silhouette Studio and designed them to fit neatly when matted on 5" x 7" and 7" x 5" card bases.  The image panels were printed on white textured cardstock, trimmed to size.  I matted the panels on green cardstock then trimmed to 1/8" border with a Perfect Layers Ruler.  It was quick and easy to glue the panels to the card bases and have another pair of cards "same-but-different" for sending one-of-a-kind Christmas Cheer.

  1. I think you just might be the queen of these types of cards Tracy... you always do a great job with "same but different" card designs. I remember the series you did recently with the champagne glasses. Fabulous work!
    Cheers,

  2. What a lovely take on the challenge. These cards are beautiful and festive. Although I'm not very good at making CAS cards, I love seeing yours and they make me want to give it go :-)
    Hugs,
