W is for W-V fold card - blue

W is for W-V fold card

No, you're not seeing things, I shared two of W-V fold cards HERE
earlier ... they looked so pretty that I could not resist making more.

When Beccy (from Beccy’s Placeintroduced us to the Jingle Bell digital stamp set, she generously shared a tutorial for a beautiful W-V-fold card.  I was inspired and I thoroughly enjoyed making some of these fancy folds too.  I used the design and dimensions shared by Beccy, then combined several elements from the Jingle Bell digital stamp set by Beccy’s Place.  The ones I used include the "Paper White" digital paper, the "Merry Little Christmas" digital sentiment and the "Bells with Bow and Pine", the "Bell Top Corner" and the "Bell Lower Corner" pre-coloured digital stamps.  There are so many images and sentiments in this delightful set that it's impossible to choose just one, so it was only fitting that I got to combine so many in this card design.  I created a second sentiment panel by combining two different fonts (details below) instead of having two image panels.  Two sets of card panels fit on a 12"x12" cardstock sheets, so of course I had to make two.  Once all the panels were set up, I printed the patterned paper and sentiment panels on white textured cardstock and cut them to size.  I cut the card bases, scored the folds and cut the other panels to size too.  Once all the pieces were ready, I adhered the layers, burnished the folds and was thrilled to have made two more of these lovely W-V-fold cards, Thank You Beccy.

This really is a fancy fold and is surprisingly easy to create.
The cards fold flat but are quite thick, so I plan on hand
delivering them to local letterboxes or giving in person.

Here are the two different colours together, they are so pretty.

  1. Ooooh, it's pretty in blue too! Isn't it amazing what a difference the border colour makes? You definitely notice a lot more blue in the images and paper. Beautiful!
    Cheers,
