J is for Jingle Bells

J is for Jingle Bells

I used several elements from the Jingle Bell digital stamp set by Beccy’s Place, including the "Bell Top Corner" and "Bell Lower Corner" pre-coloured digital stamps along with the "Merry Little Christmas" digital sentiment.  There are so many images and sentiments in this delightful set that it's impossible to choose just one.
I opened the digital images and sentiment in Silhouette Studio and started designing a 7" x 5" top folding card to print and make from smooth 300gsm Letter sized cardstock.  Don't know why, but I sent it to print before I was ready, the sentiment and images felt out of proportion at that stage.  Needless to say, it would be a pity to waste it, so I scored and burnished the fold and trimmed to size to finish off the card.  The sentiment didn't look too bad after all.  All I needed to do was to add some sparkle to the bells with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and my CAS card was done.

I love the delicate sparkle from Wink of Stella
but it's so hard to capture it in photos ...
trust me, it's there and it twinkles in the light from all angles.

  1. I love Wink of Stella too Tracy, it gives a lovely delicate effect... perfect for more elegant designs, such as your beautiful CAS style card. I'm so glad you didn't toss it out, it's really lovely.
